I am a horrible blogger. I abandoned this blog a little over 2 years ago, but recently decided that I wanted to try it again. I want a place where I can show new patterns that I try. Lately I've been stuck in this rut of making almost nothing but the infant and toddler boots that are in my shop. I love that so many people like them and they are my best selling item, but doing pair after pair of them gets monotonous.
I have so many patterns that I haven't had time to try, and I want to be able to put other things out there for my customers to purchase, and so that they can see that I can do more than just make booties.
I recently purchased these two patterns from
Mon Petit Violon. I love her patterns, and in fact the boot pattern is one of hers as well.
I can't wait to get started on both of these for my daughter. I love how they both look in the cream color, but I'm not quite sure what color I'll use just yet. I have to decide on a yarn that will work first. Since the spring is usually a slow time for my Etsy shop, I'm hoping to be able to get these finished fairly quickly. I'm always anxious to start a new pattern when I get it.
